66th Military Intelligence Brigade, Wiesbaden, Germany
Often considered to be the quintessential landmark of Wiesbaden, Germany, the Kurhaus, served as the elegant venue for this year’s 66th Military Intelligence Brigade’s Ball. Set amongst towering columns, grand staircases, pastel frescoes, and marble statues, over 450 members of the Brigade enjoyed an opulent evening celebrating and reflecting upon their past years achievements. In keeping with tradition, the Brigade hosted a delegation of personnel from the Deutsche Bundeswehr, local officials, and other various dignitaries. In addition, members of the 66th MI Brigade flew in from as many as five different countries to attend the festivities.
After an invocation, Brigade Commander Colonel James Zellmer welcomed guests, made brief remarks, and introduced Lt. General Mark Hertling, US Army Europe Commander, as the key note speaker. Within the formal ballroom, the attendees enjoyed sumptuous fare, light conversation, and lively entertainment. The evening stretched into the early morning hours with dancing, confections, and general merriment.
Friends of the 66th MI Brigade would like to thank our corporate sponsors and our volunteers for helping make this evening possible. Your generosity helped to ensure the evening’s success. Our Soldiers, Family members, and Civilians appreciate your investment into our organization! Power Forward!
